Area Light Explores Phenomenal Business Peoples

Hi there,

Today we're looking at a social network on Ning that's just getting started. Stephane Dube is the inventor of a self-cleaning window system and he's using social networking to get the word out and hopefully find some investors. What sets Stephane apart is his talent for bringing people together with a high energy. Check out Phenomenal Business Peoples www.phenomenalbusinesspeoples.ning.com. Started within the last few days of this article, this French Canadian is bound to inspire an influx of motivating networking. We've watched him on other social networks start groups that quickly grew into the hundreds. Don't believe us? Just watch!

Also, we're digging his music player. We've been thinking about incorporating music here. Phenomenal Business Peoples hits you right a way with Rihanna's "Please Don't Stop The Music". Right on! Makes us want to get out on the feild and train for soccer. At the least, it's a great tune to kick off some high-energy social networking. Stephane's cool too. He didn't mind us setting up and linking in Area Light. Even though our concepts are parallel in a lot of ways, chances are Stephane's approach to social networking is creative in different ways and perhaps more exciting to more people. Certainly worth exploring in our book.

Maybe I could take you through an exploration interview like this here. I've had some great feedback from others in the past who said the activity was the most positive and surprising they had experienced in social networking. Not surprising if you think about it. Offering positive feedback on your first impressions of someone or what they are doing is a great way to start a friendship. The more you know about people, the more likely you are to get to know and even like people you otherwise wouldn't.

Go ahead and share what you think about this activity here on this comment wall. Also, some of the best conversations happen real-time in chat. I'm always looking for a good conversation about anything and everything whenever I can. You can generally find me on my social network chat on Area Light on Friday's between 7 and 8 p.m. pacific time. I like to give people an online tour of my network and what I'm doing with it. However, I welcome casual discussion and the company whenever people take the time to visit. I also sign-in on chat when I'm working on my network in case anyone wants to pick up a quick conversation.I've got a project I'm developing to create a prime-time chat event called The Loop. The neat thing about it is it doesn't have to be "at my house".

So why don't you drop down your own chat profile info such as when you are available to chat, where, and what you're interested in talking about. With a little intelligent cooperation across networks, we can all be in The Loop to where the next chat party is at.
